Enterprise Knowledge’s Joe Hilger, Chief Technology Officer, and Angie Luong, Senior Technical Analyst, will co-facilitate an in-person, half-day workshop called “Building the Semantic Layer of Your Data Platform,” at the 2026 Data Summit Conference in Boston on Tuesday, May 5.

Semantic Layers enable organizations to navigate the complexities of managing, understanding the context behind, and making the most of their content and data. This session will dive into the components that comprise a semantic layer, their implementation, and case studies across diverse industries that demonstrate how a semantic layer can be used to support Enterprise AI, search, data analytics, and governance initiatives. Participants will gain interactive, hands-on experience developing use cases and building a semantic layer, starting with a knowledge graph.

The premiere data management and analytics conference will take place May 6-7 at the Hyatt Regency Boston, with pre-conference workshops on May 5, and will feature hands-on workshops, panel discussions, and provocative talks from industry leaders.
