Knowledge Graph University

The Knowledge Graph University program will propel your team’s ability to design, implement, and enhance your ontology and knowledge graph with intensive and customized training from our experts, offered as an organizational training. We’ve done this many times before and we’re ready to enable your success.

If you’re looking to build out organizational competency with semantics and knowledge graphs in your team, EK’s Knowledge Graph University is the place to start.

This five-module intensive training is taught by our expert instructors to your team over the course of 2-3 days. We will coach your team in the various aspects of knowledge graphs, from the basic concepts and business applications to the technical skills needed to create your own knowledge graph from scratch. We tailor this course to your audience and skill gaps, highlighting the information you need to successfully achieve your business goals.

EK’s Knowledge Graph University offers five modules of training in three levels (basic, intermediate, and advanced) customized to the following individuals within your team:

Business Analysts

Business analysts will gain knowledge about the foundational principles of taxonomies, ontologies, and semantics, and their common business applications through real case studies. At the end of the training, business analysts will be armed with the information necessary to support semantic solution projects by analyzing content and data sources to discover core components and relationships, making sense of large quantities of data, using practical questions to identify use cases and requirements, and helping uncover unexpected connections during ontology design activities.

Taxonomists and Ontologists

Taxonomists and ontologists will gain hands-on experience designing and documenting complex ontology solutions that involve the integration of taxonomies, ontologies, and knowledge graphs. At the end of training, by participating in modeling and practice labs, ontology designers will understand key semantic web standards like RDF, OWL, and SKOS, and will have practical experience creating and documenting ontology designs in multiple industry-leading semantic tools for ontology management.

Data and Knowledge Managers

Emphasizing an outcomes-based and user-centric approach to ontology design and graph implementation, data and knowledge managers will be provided with real-world applications and approaches that illustrate the value of use cases for knowledge graphs. This training will provide the skills needed to identify problems that can be solved with knowledge graphs, define ROI for knowledge engineering initiatives, and capture end users’ needs,  business requirements, and technical requirements for knowledge graph projects.

Knowledge Graph Engineers and Implementers

Knowledge graph engineers and implementers will gain knowledge and hands-on experience to lead and support the technical implementation of semantic solutions leveraging best-of-class, field-proven taxonomy/ontology management tools and graph databases. At the end of the training, knowledge graph engineers and implementers will have mastered key concepts around creating and working with RDF graph data, including semantic inference, structured and unstructured data, auto-tagging, SPARQL, SHACL validation, and graph machine learning techniques to achieve optimal implementation of knowledge graphs and artificial intelligence (AI) projects for their own organization.

BUSINESS OUTCOMES

Capacity Building

Focus on upskilling teams to support your organization’s advanced data and knowledge management projects by allowing key business and technical staff to gain knowledge and expertise on industry-leading best practices for ontologies and knowledge graphs. This will empower internal staff to lead, execute, and support strategic projects around data and knowledge, maximizing your organization’s capabilities and reducing time to deliver solutions to common knowledge challenges.

Leverage Data and Information to Answer Business Questions

Help leaders at different levels within your organization answer strategic questions by training business and technical employees on how to use semantic technologies to make sense of multiple, disparate, and diverse information. Make your organization’s data work for you to answer key business questions in real-time while leveraging skillful and proficient institutional knowledge and human capital.

Gain Competitive Advantage

Increase your organization’s competitive advantage by upscaling your workforce’s ontology and knowledge graph skills to create customer 360 views, employee 360 views, analytics dashboards, and advanced search solutions. EK’s Knowledge Graph University training can play a big role in making a difference in your competitive advantage as artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities will help your organization outperform its competitors in areas such as findability and discoverability, knowledge and data management, and data analytics.
