EK announced they will be sponsoring and hosting a new DC-area meetup focused on the Design, Delivery, Implementation, and associated Technologies of Enterprise Knowledge Graphs. The Meetup will provide a forum for networking, workshops, and assorted presentations with real-world case studies.
The Meetup will allow the broad spectrum of technology players in the Enterprise Knowledge Graph space to come together and learn about what’s working and what’s not, independent of any one specific software solution. Zach Wahl, CEO of Enterprise Knowledge noted, “as thought leaders in this field, it’s important that we facilitate the community in an unbiased, inclusive discussion of the Enterprise Knowledge Graph field. To that end, we’ll be focused on offering real-world case studies and hearing from a wide array of practitioners and vendors in this space, rather than pushing any one technology or approach.”
Each session will begin with networking time in order for participants to get to know the community, followed by a presentation or workshop from a leader in the field.
The first session will have Monica Hernandez from the Inter-American Development Bank deliver a case study. In her presentation, she will introduce the business case for leveraging an Enterprise Knowledge Graph at IDB to collect, integrate, identify, and recommend relevant articles and information to the Bank’s staff. Additionally, the presentation will discuss a Structured Data Service that allows the Bank to poll the Knowledge Graph and produce JSON-LD output for their public articles.
The session will conclude with a Q&A and additional opportunities for networking and discussion.
