EK consultant Guillermo Galdamez will be speaking at the upcoming World Information Architecture Day in DC (WIADDC) “Design for Difference,” being held on February 23 in Arlington, VA. The title of his talk is “Governance: Designing for Continuous Listening.” The presentation will highlight the importance of developing a robust governance plan as part of a Content and Taxonomy strategy. Galdamez will illustrate his argument by providing a real-world example of when he used a Governance Plan to create spaces and a platform to promote the inclusion of underrepresented audiences.
World IA Day is a yearly event bringing together information architects, user experience designers, content strategists, product managers, developers, scholars, and students to talk about and shape the future of Information Architecture. For more information, you can visit http://wiaddc.org/
