Inc. magazine today announced that Enterprise Knowledge, the world’s largest dedicated Knowledge and Information Management services firm, has once again been ranked on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent businesses. Facebook, Chobani, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.
This is the fifth consecutive year that EK has achieved a place on the Inc. 5000. Of the tens of thousands of companies that have applied to the Inc. 5000 over the years, only a fraction have made the list more than once, let alone five times in a row. Since it started in 1982, only four percent of companies have made the list five times, and less than 1% of companies have made the list five years in a row as EK has done. In addition to being listed as one of the country’s fastest growing companies, EK was also included again this year on Inc.’s list of the best workplaces in the country.
“Attaining this recognition five years in a row speaks not just to our growth, but to our consistency,” said Zach Wahl, CEO of EK. “We’ve maintained our growth through the pandemic, winning new clients and retaining our existing ones by performing at a level of exceptional quality and stability.”
Joe Hilger, EK COO added, “Our continued growth allows us to better serve our clients and provides opportunities for our employees to grow at EK in the type of work that they want to do.”
“The accomplishment of building one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S., in light of recent economic roadblocks, cannot be overstated,” says Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Inc. is thrilled to honor the companies that have established themselves through innovation, hard work, and rising to the challenges of today.”
