EK Senior Consultant, Guillermo Galdamez, and Senior Analyst, Madison Jaronski will be speaking at the upcoming Midwest KM Symposium: “(Positively) Disrupting Your Business with KM,” being held on August 9th in Cincinnati, OH at Western & Southern Life’s Headquarters.
The topic of Galadmez’s talk is “What’s in a name? Not your Org Chart.” The presentation will highlight the importance of excluding an organization’s organizational chart from their enterprise taxonomy. Galdamez will offer feasible alternatives to increase the usability and adoption of an enterprise taxonomy, and will illustrate those alternatives with real-world examples from previous taxonomy implementations across various settings.
Jaronski’s presentation, “Let’s Play! Gamifying Knowledge Management”, will discuss how organizations can leverage gamification to increase the effectiveness of their KM Strategy by promoting end-user adoption of new KM behaviors and processes through play.
Further, Jaronski has partnered with the Conference Planning Team to gamify the conference entirely. Utilizing popular game mechanics and the spirit of competition, participants will be encouraged to seek new connections, collaboratively problem solve, innovate, and most importantly have fun.
